We always make sure all meat products meet or exceed the USDA requirements for wholesomeness, are delivered fresh at our stores, and come from only those suppliers who meet our demanding standards for quality, safety and reliability.

Our Standards
After almost 50 years, we still continue to hand-trim, right in our own stores, the highest grades of meats down to a trim of fat that is not to exceed 1/8th of an inch. You will not pay for extra fat at Foodtown! Our famous Fresh Ground Beef is still ground fresh in our own stores all day, every day! We do not buy pre-pack beef, Hamburg, pork, veal or lamb.

Butcher Shop
We have full-service butcher case available in some of our stores, which provides customers with the added benefit of talking directly with a knowledgeable Foodtown meat associate who can assist them in choosing the right cuts of meat and offer advice on cooking and carving techniques.
